Half-full Moon

So I took this tonight before dinner with my new 70-300mm Nikon VR zoom lens, mainly to compare how it shoots vs. my old 300mm fixed telephoto lens. I really liked how this turned out, with clear craters and a nice bright face. By the time I got home, the clouds had obscured her face and never would have gotten this picture.
A long day, one filled with so many mixed emotions. As I just noted on FB, I am happy, sad, confused, busy, tired, empty, excited, uncertain, alive. All in all, it's not as bad as it could be.
