Icicle Teeth
Today, driving from Spruce Pine to Banner Elk, along the Toe River, I was exhausted. On my feet for five hours, and driving toward my parents' house, I was nearly ignorant of my surroundings. Then I turned a corner, and noticed two guys fishing in the swelled waters and smiled. And as if to shock me, I looked to my left, and there, along a dark rocky bank, I noticed the hill monster bearing its icicle teeth at me... and I was lost for just a moment. Turned around, went back and captured the incisors and its craggy face.
